Welcome

At our farm we can offer you several choices the year a round.

You can simply drop in to buy something from our farm shop where we sell lamb and craft products, have coffee and cake, or a light meal. You can stay with us overnight or longer and even take short craft courses with us or be guided through the beautiful local countryside and its history.

Have a cup of coffee
We can prepare Coffee, cake or a small meal while you look around our farm. Real meals or meals for groups  must be ordered in advance. We can provide meals for up to 70 people.

Swedish countryside
The area is rich in history. E.g. "Västgötalagen", (Laws passed on by verbal tradition for centuries). It was first written down in 1220´s by Eskil, the brother to Birger jarl and a close friend to Snorre Sturlasson. 
Birger Jarl who was the founder of Sweden. He married and died in the area. 

The farm is situated near to the very first and ancient road from Lödöse to Birka.

We have prepared different tours for those of you who want to bicycle or walk in our neighbourhood. Look for links or Natures Best

Beautiful landscape
We have been breeding the Swedish fine wool sheep for more than 30 years. Our speciality is the black woolled sheep although we have quite a few white as well as brown sheep. We care a lot about the health of man and especially animals.  Our farming is ecological.

Our sheep breeding  plays a major role in preserving an open landscape in our area where as in many places in Sweden agriculture is declining.

Accommodation
B&B, from 325 Swedish kronor per person and night.

Selfcatering. You can stay in our cottage 4 miles east of us with its own cooking facilities, shower and toilet for3800 Swedish kronor per week.

Direct sale
We started our direct sale in 1980. We also supply quite a few resturants in our neighbourhood.

In our shop you can find:

• Mutton, smoked or fresh.
• Home-made specialities and sausages.
•  products of other "direct-sale farms".

Home-made crafts
You will find a lot of home-made products in our shop: knitwear, woolly underwear, woven fabrics, waistcoats of sheep skin, yarn, wool and sheep skins.

Try for yourself! Activities!
When you stay at our farm for half a day or longer, you can try your hand at one or more crafts yourself.

We offer instruction in the following crafts: felting, weaving, sewing furs and leather, spinning, dyeing with plants, butchering, cooking, preparing lambmeals, västgötameals, breeding sheep or biking and walking in our neighborhods.

Our overnight price is 885 Swedish kronor per person, including instruction, meals and coffee. 

You could also experience the tradtional swedish seasonal countryside housekeeping . 

We could also offer conferences one day or longer for about 20 people. Also in combination with "with try for yourself". Teambuilding.
